The residence comprises of 194 living units, 70 self-catering, and 124 units with communal kitchen facilities. The rooms have an open space design, with a study area and an en-suite bathroom (shower only). The rooms range from bachelor units to 1- and 2-bedroom family units
Other amenities that are available in the residence include:
- Shared communal spaces with kitchens, dining, and lounge areas.
- A larger precinct that allows for outdoor activities.
- Onsite laundry.
- A backup generator during load shedding.
- Eduroam.
- Rental linen, cutlery, and crockery.
- Daily shuttle available to the Hatfield campus on weekdays
Terms and Conditions
Residents are required to sign a rental agreement that is subject to annual renewal wherein a code of conduct and house rules apply. A refundable deposit is payable, with the first month’s rental, at the conclusion of an agreement. Agreements can be terminated by appropriate notice from the tenant.
