South African Sustainable Development Knowledge Hub (SA SD KH)

South African Sustainable Development Knowledge Hub (SA SD KH)

Project background

The aim of the SA SD KH is simple: to assist South African policy-makers and development partners with implementing the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The beta version of the South African Sustainable Development Knowledge Hub (SA SD KH) was launched in March 2017 by Jeff Radebe, Minister in the Presidency of South African and custodian of South Africa’s National Development Plan. The aim of the SA SD KH is simple: to assist South African policy-makers and development partners with implementing the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We want to do this by linking you with the most recent and accessible research on the topics covered by Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Hub is intended to benefit policy-makers and development partners as well as researchers. It provides policy-makers and development partners with access to the most recent relevant South African research, and in this way it contributes to increasing the impact of South African research.
